These terms govern your use of deepaseva.org ("Temple Stories", "we", "us"). By using this website, donating, or booking a puja or seva, you agree to these terms.

1. What we do

Temple Stories tells the verified stories of village temples in India and enables devotees to (a) donate towards specific, verified temple needs and (b) book pujas and sevas performed at the temple by its priest. We facilitate these contributions; the religious services themselves are performed by each temple and its priest.

2. Donations

Donations are voluntary contributions to the named temple and purpose. Donations go directly to each temple's verified account — we do not hold donor funds. Where a specific project (for example a roof repair) is fully funded or cannot proceed, remaining funds are applied to the temple's other genuine needs, and we say so in Updates.

3. Puja & seva bookings

When you book a puja or seva, we pass your sankalpa details (name, gotra, wish) to the temple priest, who performs the ritual on the stated day. Dates follow the temple's panchanga; where a date must change for religious or practical reasons, the ritual is performed on the next appropriate day. Photos or videos, where offered, are shared on a best-effort basis — we do not promise fixed delivery times.

4. No guarantees of outcome

Pujas and sevas are religious services. We make no representation about material or spiritual outcomes.

5. Accuracy of information

We verify each temple in person and publish what we find in good faith. Progress figures combine offline donations recorded by the temple with online contributions made through this site.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse this website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or submit false information.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Temple Stories is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website. Our total liability in respect of any contribution is limited to the amount of that contribution.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date above shows the latest revision.
